Service Description

SOLD OUT! Contact us to get on the preliminary list and get first dibs when the next session is announced! This four-week course introductory course is geared towards anyone interested in learning the foundation of voice over technique. Throughout the class we’ll cover:  ​ - Introduction to VO Commercial - Introduction to Animation  - Getting comfortable with the copy/scripts - Finding Confidence behind the mic  - How to inject your own personality  - How to use improv for Voice Over Class will include a mock VO commercial audition as well as a simulated animation episode session! No prior improv or VO training necessary. Computer mic okay to use if you don’t have additional equipment.  Class Size: 10 students; everyone will get plenty of individual attention. Length: Sessions run 2 hours each, and meet for 4 weeks online.

TERMS OF SERVICE: These Terms are a complete legal agreement between You (the student) and Improv-LA (the business) and its associates. By registering for our Services, you acknowledge and fully agree to these Terms. (See full Terms: CLASS POLICY: • Our group classes are 18 years and up. • All courses are non-refundable and all sales are final. Under rare circumstances, there may an option to transfer you an equivalent course provided you contact us via email at least 7 days prior to the start of the original course. Transfers are not guaranteed.  If we are able to provide a transfer, this can only be applied one time and there will be a $30 processing fee. Any transfer requests after this will require a full re-registration for the course. Any transfers expire after 30 days of being offered. • By registering, you are making a commitment to attend and be on time for all classes to the best of your ability. However being absent up to 2 days is acceptable if needed and we can provide notes on what was covered. Missing 3 or more classes will be disruptive to the overall group and you will not be allowed to return to the session, receive notes, and will result in not passing. CODE OF CONDUCT & HARASSMENT & ANTI-DISCRIMINATION POLICY: • Improv is inherently based on both vulnerability and trust and we place extreme importance on providing a safe, supportive learning environment that fosters creativity and growth. We expect the same from our students. • If you'd like to discuss/report any concerns please go to RELEASE OF LIABILITY: • You agree that your participation in the Activities is at your own risk and that Improv-LA and/or our studio locations are not liable for any direct, incidental, consequential, indirect, or punitive damages, or any losses, costs or expenses of any kind (including legal and medical fees) which may arise, directly or indirectly, from the Activities. GOVERNING LAW • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without reference to its conflict of laws principles. • By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you agree to fully and completely release and waive Improv-LA of any and all claims for personal injury or loss, including any costs and attorney fees.
