Characters & Grounded Style Improv 

In-Person Group Class Description

​

Once you feel comfortable performing a basic improv scene, now what?
This class will be 6-weeks in the study and practice of implementing new skills into your everyday improv. We'll cover the following:

​

• Three of the major improv scene styles (Los Angeles, Chicago, & London) and how to play them

• Creating original, creative characters on the spot (think SNL characters)

• Scenes with more than three people and full group scenes

• Dramatic, grounded improv and using it in long form

• Includes final performance at the end of the last class for friends and family
   

Eligibility:

Students must have fully completed Improv-LA Level 1 within the last two years from start date of class with no more than two absences.

Class Size:

14 students- everyone will get plenty of playtime and individual attention.

Length: Sessions are 3 hours, and meet for 6 weeks at our studio.
