Comedy Writing 201: No More Writers Block 

Group Class Description

Level up your comedy writing game!
This 6-week intensive dives deeper into sketch comedy, equipping you with powerful new skills.

You'll learn:

 

- Unlimited idea generation to never have "writers block" again
- Turn current events & pop culture into topical humor

- Learn the Top 10 comedy characters to use in your writing 
- Writing comedy songs, even if you have no musical skills.

- Collaboration and co-writing to make your ideas even better

- BONUS: Live table read day of sketches for family & friends to take place after the final class!

Each student will also receive our curated video resources to enhance their overall learning experience.

Eligibility:

Students must have fully completed Improv-LA Comedy Writing 101 with teacher's approval and had no more than two absences.

​

Class Size & Length:

12 students; everyone will get plenty of time and individual attention.
Sessions are 3 hours, and meet for 6 weeks in-person + live table read day on a bonus day!

Note: There will be required writing assignments/deadlines each week.
