Course Description
* 5 spots left * By now, you’ve learned how to use a few different improv styles in your scenes...now it’s time to expand that toolkit even more! This class builds on what you started in Level 2. You’ll add new international styles while learning how to recognize what makes a scene work, heighten it, and turn simple ideas into something bigger, funnier, and more dynamic. This is where everything starts to click and you'll leave with a full range of styles and tools at your disposal. What you’ll learn: - Three more scene styles (New York, Canada, & Japan), and how they connect to what you already know - How to spot comedic patterns and play the “Game of the Scene” (simple, not over-complicated) - Easy ways to heighten scenes and make clean, confident edits - World-building and genre work to make scenes feel bigger and more cinematic - A fun final performance in Week 6 for friends & family Class Format: Length: 6 weeks Sessions: 3 hours per week Class Size: Max 14 students (you’ll get plenty of time on your feet) Eligibility: Must be 18 years of age or older to join. You must have completed Improv-LA Level 2 within the last two years, with no more than two absences.

One-Day transfers are available only up into 48 hours before class. • One-time mistaken registrations may be refunded within 24 hours, minus a $30 fee. • Natural disasters, local emergencies, or others beyond our control do not qualify for refunds, but transfers will be offered when possible (fee waived). • Missing or being late to 3+ classes means you’ll be removed and not pass the course. Notes are available if you miss up to 2 classes with prior notice. (This applies to repeat student as well) • Instructors may change due to professional commitments. No refunds or transfers are available for instructor changes. • Participation is voluntary and involves inherent risks. You assume full responsibility for your participation, including physical or emotional injury. • We reserve the right to remove students for inappropriate or harmful conduct, with no refund, to maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment. • Harassment, boundary-crossing, or discriminatory behavior will not be tolerated and may result in permanent removal. • Photos or videos may be used in Improv-LA marketing unless you opt out by emailing classes@improv-la.com with your class info. • Coupon codes must be applied at checkout and cannot be added retroactively.
