Long Form Improvised Storytelling 

Online Group Class Description

​

Time for the real fun, applying everything else you learned into creating a long form improvised piece! This class will be 4-weeks in the study and practice of learning popular techniques

and using them into your everyday improv. We'll cover the following:

​

• Improvised Storytelling through Long Form

• Generating ideas off of personal stories

• Improvised monologues and openings

• The Five Elements every story must have

• Includes final performance at the end of the last class for friends and family

​

As well as learning one of the following forms (dependant on class size)

​

•  The original long form, The Harold (with Group Games and Openings)

•  The Improvised Movie (and movie techniques)

•  The Armando Diaz Experience, Theatrical Movement & Hootenanny (that is its real name)

•  The Deconstruction 

•  The Story

•  The Hub

•  The Pretty Flower

•  The Thrasher

•  The Banter and more!
   

Students must have completed Improv-LA Level 3 to be eligible for this class.

Class Size: 10 students; everyone will get plenty of playtime and individual attention.

Length: Sessions are 2 hours, and meet for 4 weeks online over Zoom.
