Send us a message to get on the waitlist for the next session: classes@improv-la.com From page to stage, this final six-week class takes your sketch comedy skills to the top level, diving into everything you need to know to produce and perform a live sketch show! Perfect for sketch writers looking to expand their skills or performers eager to bring their comedy to tan audience. You’ll learn: - The three distinct types of performance sketches - How to produce a live sketch comedy show, including costumes, props, stage blocking, tech scripts, running order, and more - The art of rewriting to make your sketches stage-ready - How to perform scripted comedy live on stage - Techniques for creating videos to enhance your live show This course culminates in a live sketch comedy show for family and friends, showcasing your original work. Whether you want to be in the spotlight or prefer to stay behind the scenes as a writer, this class gives you the tools and confidence to create an unforgettable performance and use those skills going forward. Directed by Improv-LA Founder, Keith Saltojanes. Keith has written for comedians from SNL, MADtv, In Living Color, and Mr. Show and has directed countless comedy shows bringing groups from newbies to mainstage elites. Eligibility: Students must have fully completed Improv-LA Sketch 201 with teacher's approval and had no more than two absences Class Size: 12 students; everyone will get plenty of time and individual attention. Length: Sessions are 2.5 hours, and meet for 6 weeks in-Person. Parking: All of our classes come with free & easy parking for all students! Note: There will be required writing assignments/deadlines each week.

Courses are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law. • Transfers may be possible (not guaranteed) if requested by email at least 7 days before your course begins, depending on availability. A $35 fee applies. Transfers expire 30 days after being offered. • One-time mistaken registrations may be refunded within 24 hours, minus a $30 fee. • Natural disasters, local emergencies, or others beyond our control do not qualify for refunds, but transfers will be offered when possible (fee waived). • Missing or being late to 3+ classes means you’ll be removed and not pass the course. Notes are available if you miss up to 2 classes with prior notice. • Instructors may change due to professional commitments. No refunds or transfers are available for instructor changes. • Participation is voluntary and involves inherent risks. You assume full responsibility for your participation, including physical or emotional injury. • We reserve the right to remove students for inappropriate or harmful conduct, with no refund, to maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment. • Harassment, boundary-crossing, or discriminatory behavior will not be tolerated and may result in permanent removal. • Photos or videos may be used in Improv-LA marketing unless you opt out by emailing classes@improv-la.com with your class info. • Coupon codes must be applied at checkout and cannot be added retroactively.
