Service Description

NOW OPEN! ABOUT CLASS: The Complete Scene: Five Point Scenic Structure In this workshop, we'll focus on learning and utilizing a simple structure to create a complete scene with a fulfilling beginning, middle, and end. The structure helps guide the improviser's choices while allowing plenty of space to play with emotion, character, point of view, and heightened comic action to manifest dynamic relationship scenes. Must have recent prior improv experience to be eligible. ​ Class Size: 20 students Length: Session is 3 hours, and meets 1 time only in Los Angeles. THE INSTRUCTOR: FRANK CAETI Frank (he/him/his) has performed, directed, and taught improvisation for over 20 years. As a performer, he has worked at The Second City (National Touring Company and Resident Company in Chicago and Las Vegas), UCB (House Harold Teams), and iO West (The Armando Show).  Frank has directed shows for The Second City in Chicago (#DateMe, The Best Decision You've Ever Made, After Hours), at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC (Love Factually, Twist Your Dickens), and Los Angeles (Ithamar Has Nothing To Say, Trump In Space, Supportive White Parents).  TV credits include: MADtv, Modern Family, Key and Peele, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Chicago Party Aunt, Adam Ruins Everything, Chicago Fire, Reno 911, NCIS, and over three dozen commercials. Regional Theatre credits include: La Jolla Playhouse, Goodman Theater, Kennedy Center, Dallas Theater Center, Kirk Douglas Theater, and Laguna Playhouse. Mr. Caeti's writing has appeared on television, web series, and off-broadway.  ​
