Service Description

CLASS IS SOLD OUT. Please see listing for more available classes. (note: we'll be skipping 11/26 for Thanksgiving week) This six-week course in the study of improv comedy is perfect for beginners. Some of the skills the class covers include:  ​ - Unleash the power of your unique personality to create new ideas & never “go blank” again - Master the core tenets of improv such as agreement, listening, and more - Learn the four essential pillars that lay the foundation for extraordinary improv scenes   - Strengthen your sense of humor and comedic timing while getting out of your shell - Explore the top six techniques to initiate scenes and conversations - Tools to strengthen your voice, public speaking, & communication skills No prior improv or performing experience is necessary. (Each student will also receive curated resources including: videos, reading suggestions, recommended live shows in town, and optional out-of-class assignments to enhance their overall learning experience.) ​ Class Size: 14 students; everyone will get plenty of stage time and individual attention. Length: Sessions are 3 hours, and meet for 6 weeks in Los Angeles.
